DISCO DISCO

A stage bathed in warm light. 8 performers dressed in smart clothes are going wild! They are leaping around, crawling on the floor, growling, shouting, everyone looks to be having a brilliant time!

Free drama workshops for learning disabled and autistic adults, on Monday evenings in Croydon.

DISCO DISCO Drama Workshops

Our relaxed drama workshops are for adults and young people who are learning disabled and/or autistic. The sessions are a great way to make friends, build confidence and gain performance skills.

There are opportunities to perform in shows, including at our annual festival - A Bit Of A Do. But there is no pressure on anyone to perform - so if you just want to join to have fun in the sessions that’s fine too.

Each session will include warm ups, theatre games, acting and group work.

Workshops are led by experienced friendly tutors.

Who: The workshops are open to adults over the age of 18 with mild to moderate learning disabilities and /or autism. We will also be starting a group for young people aged 13 to 18. You don’t need to have done drama before, and there is no pressure to perform.

When: Monday evenings. Three 10-week terms per year.

Where: Front Room, Croydon

Places are limited to 12 people per group. Once these places are full, we will add people to a waiting list. You need to sign up in advance before attending the sessions.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the workshops you can contact  Sheena Holliday, either by email – sheena@drunkenchorus.co.uk – or by phone – 07565191882
